Gene Munster is a co-founder and managing partner of Loup Ventures, which is an early stage venture capital firm investing in robotics, artificial intelligence, augmented reality and virtual reality companies. Prior to founding Loup, Munster spent over 20 years as a sell-side research analysts at Piper Jaffray, where he followed mega-cap tech stocks. During his tenure at Piper he built a brand of unique research, as well as ranked near the top of sell-side analysts in terms of picking stocks and trends.
